Sopore:ADC Sopore today flagged off ‘Run for Safety drive at Welkin Shah Rasool Sopore.

Chief Guest on the occassion was ADC Sopore Parvaiz sajad and ARTO Baramulla Mubashir Jan.

In continuation to the ongoing Road Safety Month, ADC Sopore Parvaiz Sajad today flagged off ‘Run for Safety drive’ here at the nearby Welkin School of education to raise awareness among people about road safety rules.

The function was organized Chinar Trust Sopore in Collaboration with ARTO Office Baramulla and Sopore Police.

On the occasion ADC Sopore Parvaiz sajad gave the introductory speech on Road Safety Month programme and mass awareness among the people about road safety rules and etiquettes.
He directed the ARTO to conduct special awareness programmes for driver associations of the district to ensure strengthening of road safety at grassroots level to save precious human lives.

Later, the ADC also flagged off a Road Safety rally at Sopore which concluded at Welkin school of sopore The boys and girls held placards in their hands depicting the messages about safe driving and road etiquettes.
