Srinagar, Jun 17: Burglars have stolen a donation from a Gurdwara in Baghat area of Srinagar on Thursday.

Sources told that unknown persons have stolen a donation box from the premises of Shaheed Banga Gurdwara, located in Baghat area of Srinagar.

Meanwhile, local police have taken the cognisance of the incident and registered the FIR under the relevant sections of the law and further investigation has been stated in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention that there has been a significant increase in thefts in religious places during the lockdown.
