Uri,1 April(GNN) : In a tragic accident a motorcyclist went missing after his motorcycle plunged into an water reservoir in Boniyar Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

According to sources it is believed that the motorcyclist was washed away in the fast flowing water  and could not be traced till now. The incident happened on the outskirts of Boniyar village.

Official sources said that at around 7:00 pm, an accident occurred, a motorcycle bearing number (HR26DU 1782) skidded of the road and fell into a nearby water reservoir, however locals tried so hard to rescue but they failed.

According the souces the person who is missing has been identified as Kashif Khan son of Dilshad Khan a resident of Panipat Haryana.

SHO Boniyar Mr Ashiq Hussain while talking to Greater Now said that ” The motorcycle was running with high speed after which it fell into the reservoir, Our team is on spot trying to do any possible help and more details are awaited”.
