Baramulla, Mar 07: The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of heads of line departments in Dak Bungalow Baramulla to review the progress of projects being executed in the district under District Capex budget 2021-22 and formulation of Plan for next financial year 2022-23.

On the occasion, the DC was appraised with reagard to projects being executed by various departments in the district. He was also informed about the plans to be prepared for the next financial year.

After reviewing the sector wise progress of the projects, The DC impressed upon all the departments/executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all developmental works in a time bound manner.

While reviewing the issues hampering the pace of progress, the DC asked to monitor the pace of progress on a regular basis and resolve the issues hampering the progress of several works at an earliest.

The DC directed the officers to put in best efforts for maximum and optimum utilization of funds under different schemes.

While discussing the plan formulation for 2022-23 financial year, the DC instructed the officers for involving all PRIs in identification of all priority works to be taken up in hand for next the financial year.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf, Joint Director Planning M.Yousuf Rather, Programme Officer ICDS Baramulla, Mohammad Asadullah, Superintending Engineers of R&B, PDD, Hydraulic, ACD besides other concerned officers of the district.
