Srinagar, Dec 20: Delimitation Panel proposes 6 additional seats for the Jammu region and 1 for Kashmir Valley. This would make total seats in Jammu 43, Kashmir Valley, 47.
9 seats were proposed for ST & 7 for SC.

Associate members requested to submit their suggestions by Dec 31.

The Commission has come out with a document that is objectively prepared. All associated members regardless of parties appreciated work done by Delimitation Commission.

NC members were also satisfied by parameters followed by the Commission: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.
