Sopore, Dec 8: Sopore Police Continuing its war against drug menace in Police District Sopore, a routine naka was established at Tragpora crossing  by SHO PS Dangiwacha Imtiyaz Wani along with DO PP Watergam Bilal Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Mohammad Amin Bhat, during naka checking Police Party intercepted two persons who were roaming suspiciously and during instant search of said persons 50 Capsules of SPASMOPROXYVON & ALPROXOM were recovered from their possession.

The accused were identified as Burhan Din Sheikh S/O Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh R/O Shogpora Tragpora and Shahid Ahmad Yatto @Shahid Mirchi S/O Mohammad Assadullah Yatto R/O Lagriwarpora Tragpora.

The accused has been arrested and accordingly Case FIR No. 192/2021 U/S 8/22, 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation has been taken up.

Sopore Police sought cooperation from general public for information to control the drug menace in Police District Sopore.
