Baramulla:40 Bn BSF conducted a free medical camp for the needy population of the area at Lubriwalpura, near Tragpora in Tehsil Rohama, Distt Baramulla.

Five medical practitioners including a gynecologist examined the patients and gave medicines.

281 local persons got benefitted by the camp. Medicines worth Rs. 1 Lakh were distributed on the spot.

Apart from it a campaign to educate locals to prevent spread of COVID19 was also conducted and masks were also distributed.

A well publicised event helped people from far flung villages to reach the medical camp and take treatment.

The Commandent of the BSF Bn conducting the camp informed that the BSF will also do the follow up of the patients who need subsequent treatment.

The response of the local population was overwhelming and they were happy that they are being taken care of during this pandemic when their mobility is restricted.

Old aged people and ladies were given special attention to provide Medicare.

There was full support in conducting the camp by the BMO Rohama and his staff.
