Uri, October 27: Thirty six employees of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation-II (NHPC) Uri on Monday tested positive for COVID-19 virus, officials said.
A health official told that sampling through rapid antigen tests (RAT) was conducted for employees at NHPC-II Salamabad Uri.
“186 COVID samples were taken in which 36 have been tested positive, ” said an official.
The official said that as a precautionary measure, sanitization has been started in and around the power project.
Official further said as per health protocol all employees have been asked to follow SOPs strictly.
He added employees who tested positive have been advised to go for home isolation. (GNS)
