Bandipora, Jun 19: 13-year-old boy, riding a bicycle, was killed after being hit by a speeding car near Bazipora area along Srinagar-Bandipora highway.

Reports reaching news agency said that one Mudasir Ahmad (alias Ayaan), son of Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Kanae Mohalla, Saderkote Bala of Bandipora was hit by a ‘Wagon R’, resulting in critical injuries to him. The teenager was subsequently evacuated to a nearby hospital, however he died on way.

Confirming the incident, a police official told that the accused has been arrested besides the vehicle involved in the incident also seized. “A case has been registered in this regard under relevant sections of law for further proceedings”, the official further said.
