Sopore, Oct 29:Three residential houses was completely damaged and other two were partially damaged in Neharpora area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district late Wednesday evening.

Reports said that a massive fire broke out in the double storey residential house of Ghulam Nabi Shah and were engulfed to other nearby houses of Abdul Majeed Shah and Reyaz Ahmad Shah. In the mishap all the three house was completly damaged and the property worth lakhs was also damaged, however two other houses belongs to Ali Muhammad Shah and Bashir Ahmad shah was partially damaged in the mishap. while no loss of life or injury was reported in the mishap.

However, a team of Fire and Emergency Services department reached the spot and doused the flames with the help of Police and local people, reports said.

Meanwhile, locals demand that government should rehabilitate and provide compensation to the affected families early.
