Uri, Oct 12 : A minor girl sustained wounds after attacked by a leopard in Chollan Uri area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday evening.

Officials told that the girl Nuzhat Fatima (5) daughter of Aijaz Hussain was outside her home when attacked by a leopard and dragged away several metres from her home. Soon after intimated, a police team alongside locals rushed the area to rescue the girl.

After efforts, the girl was barely rescued and rushed to SDH Uri for immediate treatment officials said adding the victim has sustained few wounds in the incident.
