Sopore, November 25: Security forces launched  cordon and search operations (CASO’s) in warpora area of Sopore and Nadihal area of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports said a joint team of army, SOG of J&K police and CRPF cordoned off  wapora Sopore and conducted house to house searches in the area during the operation all entry and exit points lead towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.

Similarly forces also cordoned off Nadihal village of Rafiabad and conducted searches with sealed all entry and exit points of the area

Meanwhile A top police officer of police division Sopore told search operation was launched in both the villages while following inputs about the presence of militants in these areas.

Searches were going on in both areas when last reports came in.
