Baramulla:Independent councillor from Baramulla Abid Salaam on Friday scorched and refuted the rumours as fabricated and baseless that he has joined BJP.

Abid Salaam told Greater Now that some miscreants for their self interests are spreading baseless stories and bringing up non existent and imaginary political illegality that I am joining BJP.

He added, “I along with my mother contested the municipal polls Independently for the people of Baramulla and I would continue fight for the people of Baramulla without the supports of any political parties that have used people of Kashmir throughout the history for theirs own benefits,”.

Abid Salaam requested people to do not pay heed to reumors as right now he has no political inclination nor agenda apart from working for his people.
