Rafiabad:The Army’s 32 Rashtriya Rifles has always been at the forefront in partnering the civil administration and common masses of Rafiabad in development activities.
As part of this initiative and to strengthen the existing bonhomie between local populace of the region and the Army, a Felicitation Programme was organised for budding individuals of Rafiabad Region on 03 Oct 2021.
Army organised this felicitation Ceremony to recognise the exemplary work done by the people with the aim to integrate the local population with national mainstream and further strengthen the civil-military relations.
A total of six individuals who have excelled in varied fields were felicitated for their distinguished services which included Mrs Humaira Syed, Teacher awarded with best teacher award, Mr Mir Arif Media Personal,Mr Iqbal Amin Media Personal, Mr Zubair, Social and Youth Activist, Mr Zahid, upcoming footballer, Mr Basharat, Chairman Civil Society, Dangiwacha and Dangiwacha Girls Volleyball Team.
A total of 38 individuals participated in the event. A discussion on problems and resolution was conducted on culmination of the event wherein Mrs Humaira Syed praised the steps take by Indian Army to bolster the role of women in Kashmir.
Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Dangiwacha while thanking Army’s 32 RR highlighted the proactive and perceptive role played by the army in every step of the way.
Journalist Mir Arif who was felicitated during the ceremony while speaking highlighted that Development can happen only when an environment of peace and harmony prevails in a place and the Army’s 32 RR has worked hard in maintaining law and order and bringing peace to the area of Rafiabad.
Mir also spoke about the Army’s 32 Rashtriya Rifles, its aims and objectives and activities being initiated for the empowerment of youth and families through education, talent spotting and skill development.He further said that nothing can happen without passion and this passion has been channelised very well in the Rafiabad by the Army’s 32 Rashtriya Rifles.
The role of Civil Society was also appreciated for their relentless support towards Indian Army.
The Felicitation Ceremony ended with thanking and appreciating the efforts of the Indian Army.
