Kupwara:In a first of its kind initiative, Tekipora Coy of AWWAL ATTHAIS distributed dustbins to various private schools and institutions to instill in them the motivation to contribute towards Swachh Kashmir Mission.

The locals and school staff utilized this occasion to interact with the government officials and army personnel. They also admitted that such sustained efforts helped in garnering positive image of the Army among the youth and children of the village.

The drive was well appreciated by the locals especially youth and encouraged them to keep the area clean.

The effort has been appreciated deeply by the local populace and shall go a long way in forging eternal bond of trust and harmony between locals and the Indian Army.

They were motivated to carry out more such activities for overall cleanliness of Kashmir.
