Pulwama, Dec 11: A 37-year-old woman whose husband joined militant ranks last month passed away on Friday due to a heart attack

According to reports the deceased identified as Rozy Jaan, wife of Zahoor Ahmad Lone, a resident of Inder Pulwama, passed away today due to the heart attack, family memebers said.

They said that Rozy complained of a chest pain and was subsequently shifted to District Hopsital Pulwama where doctors declared her brought dead.

Zahoor joined Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit last month and several of his audio clips went viral on social media. Zahoor has an 18-year-old daughter and a 12 year son, the family said.

In one of the audio clips, Zahoor is heard praising his wife and appealing the armed forces to not involve his family members in his decision of joining the militancy. According to reports that Zahoor’s elder brother, was also a militant and was killed in a gunfight in 1999.
