Srinagar,Aug 22: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Handwara Police at Police Station Vilgam while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

In a statement issued to Greater Now, Police said that the meeting was chaired by SP Handwara Sh. Sandeep Gupta,SDPO Handwara Fariz Ah and SHO Police Station Vilgam Iftikar Husain

The meeting was attended by large number of respectables of the area.

During the meeting, the participants raised various issues including, Drug / Water Crisis and other issues/ grievances of common masses. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal,” the statement said.

The participants assured their full cooperation to Police and applaud the impartial role of Police in the execution of law and hailed the visible change in the behaviour, conduct, etiquette of Policemen towards general public,”especially SHO Vilgam Iftikar Hussain, statement added.
