DC B’la Reviews Progress of Works being Executed under DDUGJY

Baramulla, June 10: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting with the concerned officers in order to review the pace and position of power developmental projects which are being executed under the centrally sponsored Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY). The meeting specifically took review of 6.33 MVA 33/11 KV receiving station which is being constructed at Hachaypora at an estimated cost of Rs 2.42 Crores under the said scheme.

 

Pertinent to mention that DDUGJY is a centrally sponsored scheme which aimed to provide continuous electricity supply in rural areas.

 

On the ocassion, a comprehensive discussion on various aspects was held wherein the DC directed the concerned agencies to abide by the completion time of the said project which has been fixed as September 2021. He also emphasized to work in coordination and cohesion so that all the undertaken works are completed well within the stipulated timeframe. The DC also directed to mobilize all the available resources and follow COVID-19 SOPs at the working sites in letter and spirit.

 

ADC Baramulla Mohammad Ahsan Mir, Joint Director Planning among other concerned Officers attended the meeting.
