Forest department along with FPF held an anti encroachment drive in North Kashmir’s Boniyar

Uri, May 22 : Forest Department Range Boniyar along with FPF on Saturday launched an anti-encroachment drive in Batangi and Bernate forests in forest range Boniyar in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Ranger officer Boniyar Mr Malik Manzoor along with other personnels and team of Forest Protection Force launched anti-encroachment drive.

The officials dismantled illegally erected Bush fencing on forest land and reterieved about 50 kannal land.

While talking to Greater Now , officials said that search for culprits and encroachers have been started on large scale.

Giving details of the successful anti-encroachment operation Range officer Malik Manzoor,  said, “We will not spare anybody who has or who will even try to encroach upon forest land irrespective of their rank, status or affiliations. I appeal to the people of Boniyar to come forward and help the department.”
