Kupwara:On receipt of Fire incidents in Tarats and Chak Nutnusa, Chak Kigam Camp quickly responded and controlled the fire thus averting major fire incidents at two places in Kandi and Tarats.

The fire incidents took place at Higher Secondary School building at 1145 PM on 16 May and at 1200 Hrs on 17 May 2021 at Nisar Ahmed Gojri house of Chak Nutnusa.

Without wasting any precious time Army immediately swung into action and reached the incident site with its fire-fighting equipment and resources.

The fire was contained in a timely manner by the fire department officials with the help of locals and the Army.
