Srinagar Apr 23: The JK Bank authorities in Qamarwari,. Srinagar on Saturday ordered closure of J&K Bank’s Qamarwari branch for at least five days after two of its staff members tested Covid positive.

While confirming to about the positive cases, Chief Medical Officer Qamarwari, Dr Sameer said that that nine employees of JK Bank Qamarwari were detected Covid positive in main branch of JK Bank in Qamarwari, Srinagar.

However, he added that after the sanitisation of the bank, the bank was closed for next 5 days

While as he admitted that the primary contacts of these employees will be tested after quarantine of 5 days adding that all the primary and secondary contacts of the affected employees have been advised to self Isolation and quarantine themselves.

It is pertinent to mention that second Covid wave has left disastrous impact on human life as it has led to rapid increase in Covid cases and deaths also.
