Rafiabad Nov 23: Former DySP Haji Khursheed Ahmad Khan on Monday submitted his nomination papers as the Independent candidate from Roohama Constituency for District Development Constituency (DDC) elections.

Khursheed Ah Khan told news agency that “I submitted the nomination form just to serve the people who are roaming from pillar to post to get their grievances addressed,” he said.

He said his people are suffering immensely in absence elected representatives. “I decided to contest the elections and serve people. Keeping in view the importance of DDC elections under panchayati Raj Act and its roots in Grass Root,” he said.

He appealed people to vote judiciously and without getting in influence as its this election which will be instrumental in development and bringing problems of people to logical conclusion.
