Anantnag:Security forces launched a massive Cordon and search operation in Lazibal Area of South kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday Morning.
Sources told that a Joint Team of Army’s 1 RR, SOG of J&k Police and 40BN of CRPF Cordoned off Lazibal area of Anantnag after getting imputs about the movement and presence of militants in the area.
An officer also confirmed and said that following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area seach operation was launched.
All the entry and exit points leading towards the area has been sealed by government forces.
However search operation was going on when this report was being filed.
