Baramulla: Acting on a tip off about the presence of militants in the area a cordon and search operation was launched in Hadipora village of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

Army officials said that 32 RR of Indian Army and launched a cordon and search operation in Hadipora village in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad after an input about the presence and movement of militants in the area.

The search operation is in progress and still no contact was established with militants during the CASO.

Meanwhile officials in Army confirmed Greater Now that drones have been put in action to track any possible movement and presence of the militants.

The Army is using drones to kill down militants by utilising real-time data generated from the drones on the militants holed up in residential areas.
