Srinagar, May 27: Militants managed to escape after brief exchange of fire with police and security forces in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.

Kashmir Police Zone tweeted, ” After initial brief encounter during cordon & search operation in Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora, militants managed to escape from the spot. However, our team chasing them. Further details shall follow.
