Srinagar, Apr 2: Baramulla Police under the supervision of Sh. Mohammad Nawaz Khanday-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by Inspr. Nisar Ahmad, SHO PS Pattan & Inspr. Mohd Shafi, IC PP Mirgund seized 3 Tractors and arrested 3 persons for being involved in extracting minerals illegally at Flood Spill Channel Baliharan Pattan, District Baramulla.

Violators were taking undue advantage by extracting minerals illegally to the detriment of people health, the ecology and the revenue of the government.

Baramulla Police once again warn such violators not to indulge in these types of activities, anybody found will face the strict action as per law.
