Sopore, Feb 23: Sopore Police continuing its efforts to act against persons who was evading his arrest, arrested an accused namely Muhammad Rafiq Lone S/O Muhammad Yousuf Lone R/O Nadihal Rafiabad, involved in NDPS case, who was evading his arrest since long time.

Acting on a tip-of about the presence of the accused absconder at a specified location, a police team headed by SHO Police Station Panzla under the Supervision of SDPO Rafiabad constituted to effect arrest of the culprit and on 22 Feb 22 police succeeded in arresting the long pending accused in the instant case.

The accused has been produced before the competent court and has been remanded to police custody for further questioning.
