Baramulla December 09: The residents of Boniyar Baramulla on Thursday pays their homage to the CDS General Bipin Rawat, who earlier day before died in helicopter crash in Tamilnadu area.

Late CDS General Bipin Rawat was posted in Baramulla Boniyar back many years and had cemented good relationship with the people of Boniyar.

According to a statement issued to Greater Now News, reads the day when the whole nation is mourning the tragic demise of CDS , General Bipin Rawat . Whole of Kashmir has drenched in the shades of gloominess with moist eyes , prayers on the lips and thoughts in mind about the Brave son of the motherland.

The Awaam of Boniyar Tehsil of Baramulla district who had been closely associated with Gen Bipin Rawat congregated in large numbers at Higher Secondary School , Boniyar to pay homage to the departed soul . Expressing their heart , they fondly remembered the times when he commanded the Dagger Division and the numerous instances when he had been amongst them shouldering their challenges and guiding the way through . While expressing their solidarity to the families of military personnels who lost their lives in the Chopper crash on 08 Dec 21 , the Awaam also prayed for the speedy recovery of Group Captain Varun Singh . The Khiraj-e-Aqueedat at Boniyar is a testimony to the relation and strong bond which Kashmir shares with Indian Army .
