Baramulla, November 10: In view of surge in COVID-19 cases that have been reported in district Baramulla from the past few days, Motor Vehicle Department Baramulla today conducted a massive Traffic Checking on different locations on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway where they took review of the implementation of SOPs and guidelines necessary for averting any kind of exigency.

The inspection was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Regional Transport officer Baramulla Mubashir Jan wherein the several persons involved in violation of SOPs were Penalized on the spot.

Meanwhile, the ARTO has emphasized upon the concerned stakeholders more especially transporters to use face masks and don’t allow any Passenger to travel in their Vehicles without wearing Facemasks.
