Baramulla, Oct 02 : A Bear attack gravely injured a 50-year- old women and her Nephew in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday morning.

Reports reaching said that a wild bear attacked Zoona Begum(50) wife of Gh Nabi Chopan and her Nephew Javid Ahmad Chopan(30) son of Mohd Ramzan Chopan in Nilsar village of Tangmarg.They were grazing their livestock in a nearby forest area when they were attacked by the wild bear.

Meanwhile, Javid Ahmad Chopan nephew of the said women tried to chase away the wild bear, however it attacked him also, leaving him with multiple wounds.

Both were immediately shifted to local Hospital, where from they were referred to Baramulla Hospital for further treatment, sources said.
