Baramulla, Sept 28: Rafiabad Army, in coordination with Centre for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI), a non-profit organisation based with support from National Stock Exchange Fund (NSEF) donates 50 Oxygen Concentrators costing approximately half a crore to the Primary Health authorities in Rafiabad Area.
These Oxygen Concentrators will have the capacity to deliver oxygen to patients at maximum speed of 10 litres per minute.
Pertinent to mention here that, Oxygen Concentrators are novel instruments that filter out room air and deliver pure oxygen gas to a patient. These are very useful for moderately severe respiratory illnesses with SpO2 as low as as 80% . They are easy to use and played pivotal role during COVID-19 pandemic.
Commander Pohrupet Sector distributed 20 Oxygen Concentrators to Dr Irfan,(BMO Dangiwacha), 20 to Dr Asif, (BMO Rohama),and 10 to Dr Shamim, (in charge of Watergam Trauma Centre), making it a total of 50 Oxygen Concentrators for the benefit of people of Rafiabad.
Common masses of Rafiabad hailed the initiative of 32 RR and have expressed their gratitude for this noble cause.
