Anantnag, Sep 19 : Three persons were injured in bear attacks in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

Reports reaching said that the bears attacked three persons at Kharipath Larnoo Kokernag and Vering on Sunday, leaving them seriously wounded.

The injured have been identified as Hameeda Banoo wife of Mohammad Syed of Kokagund Verinag and Abdul Gani son of Mohammad Ramzan Padder of Chontipora Verinag. They were rushed to PHC Verinag wherefrom doctors shifted them to GMC Hospital Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Another Injured identified Razia Jan daughter of Mohammad Abdullah Awain of Kharipath Larnoo Kokernag was shifted to PHC Larnoo for treatment.
